Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060: Smallest Gaming Ampere GPU will be released on February 25th

Officially, it was only at the end of February, now February 25 was chosen as the date for the presentation of the new GeForce RTX 3060 as the smallest gaming ampere GPU. The cards should change hands from 329 euros , whether there will be a Founders Edition in addition to custom designs is still unclear.

Initial listings in Portuguese shops show prices similar to those of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, although this will likely vary greatly depending on the partner model and, above all, availability. Because – as is now common – the availability in particular has a big question mark, which means that the recommended price can quickly become a waste. Anything else would even be absolutely astonishing.

Update 02/15/2021 1:24 p.m.

On the product side of the GeForce RTX-3060 family NVIDIA has once again the technical data and the suspected release date of 25 February confirmed , but refers only to the version with 12 GB. Various partners are also listing the first models with only 6 GB, and to what extent these will appear at the same time or are more aimed at the OEM market remains to be seen.

The price of 329 euros set after the tax adjustment at the end of January officially continues to apply. The extent to which it will be kept is however not foreseeable and for the time being presumably pure waste. The first listings of partner cards range from halfway realistic to excessive, although the almost double price is not an isolated case. In the price comparison in this country, that means 499 euros to 659 euros , although the information from the Portuguese shop a week ago with 490 to 600 euros is now also pretty exactly here.
