Increase Your Walking Distance: 5 Easy Tricks to Still Walk 10,000 Steps a Day

Walking is the easiest and most useful form of physical activity, which is available almost always and everywhere.ย But what if day after day you do not have time to go for a walk?ย We have several options for how to increase the number of steps taken.

Walk while talking

Phone call?ย Answer and get up: if during every phone call or even conference you walk (even from wall to wall in your office), you will walk a good distance during the day.ย And walking at even a very slow pace is still healthier than sitting.

Choose a parking spot

Driving to work?ย Try to park a few blocks from the office: firstly, this can make it easier to find free space, and, secondly, it will allow you to walk a thousand or two more steps every day.

Conduct planning meetings on walks
