Swelling, fatigue, chafing, and calluses – our feet require special attention in summer. We are catching up with the outgoing summer – and we are talking about simple rules that will help make the rest of it more comfortable.
Don’t forget to apply sunscreen
The feet and especially the toes are one of those parts of the body that we forget to protect from ultraviolet radiation. Meanwhile, the skin here is especially sensitive and delicate, and therefore can be very defenseless against cancer. Do not forget to apply and renew sunscreen on your feet and toes in time, even if you are not on the beach, but just walking around the city in open shoes.
Soak in the evenings
In summer, our feet are more likely to swell due to heat and lack of moisture. After a long day, soak in cool water for 15 minutes to help relieve swelling, soothe skin and fatigue. The main thing is to remember to wipe your feet dry after the procedure.
Find the right insoles for your shoes
Feet swell and swell in the heat, which can make even the most comfortable shoes uncomfortable. Choose silicone or gel insoles that support your foot as you walk and help distribute the load.
Don’t forget the silicone earbuds
Even the usual and “worn out” shoes in the summer can start to rub: because of the heat, sweat, and swelling of the feet. Silicone soft liners can be attached to different parts of the shoe and thus protect your feet from chafing.
